Professional Background

Billy co-founded ROI Commercial, LLC in 2017 after a 25-year tenure at a large commercial real estate firm, where he served as a senior broker and member of the company’s management team. He now serves as Broker-in-Charge of ROI Commercial. During Billy’s long tenure as a commercial real estate broker, he has counseled his clients with brokerage, leasing, and advisory services to help them navigate the many issues to be considered and evaluate the best course of action for a favorable result. Billy has also been active in the brokerage of investment properties and site selection assignments. Billy is among a very small percentage of commercial real estate brokers who have earned both the CCIM and SIOR professional designations.

Billy began his career in commercial real estate in 1991 after a successful career in the financial services industry. His many clients and customers include a long list of national, regional, and local buyers, sellers, landlords, tenants, users, and investors who have benefited from Billy’s efforts and advice for the past 34 years.

Professional Background
Sherri Burriss is the co-founder and Senior Broker of ROI Commercial, LLC, bringing nearly two decades of experience working with leading commercial real estate firms. She specializes in the leasing and sale of shopping centers, office and retail properties, and development land. Sherri represents a wide range of clients, including landlords, tenants, business owners, and investors.

Her expertise includes franchisee and tenant representation, site selection, investment sales, and 1031 exchanges. Prior to her CRE experience, Sherri spent 16 years in the public sector—supporting both state and local government initiatives.  With a unique blend of strategic planning expertise and sharp problem-solving skills, Sherri helps clients make real estate decisions that support and strengthen their broader business goals.

Sherri holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration and a minor in Psychology from Erskine College and a Master of Public Administration from the University of South Carolina.

Professional Background

Jonah Burriss began his commercial real estate career immediately after graduating from the Citadel.  He specializes in sales and leasing of industrial, flex, and office properties.  Prior to joining the ROI brokerage team, Jonah served as an Assistant Property Manager for a large firm, managing a diverse portfolio of industrial, retail, and office properties. His hands-on experience and client-focused approach have equipped him with a sharp understanding of asset performance and operational efficiency.

A graduate of The Citadel with a Bachelor of Business Administration, Jonah is committed to delivering exceptional service and value to ROI’s clients. He is excited to build lasting relationships, drive strategic outcomes, and make a meaningful impact for his clients.

Jonah is a Lexington native and is known for his outgoing “never met a stranger” personality. He has a talent for finding “off market” opportunities and clients are impressed with his dedication to finding the right solution for each client, no matter how complex the challenge.
